The Sacred Heart Flower Brick was developed for Dwelling on the Gulf; Ceramic Artists Respond to Historic Galveston Architecture (an invitational exhibition in Galveston,Texas during NCECA.) The show provided the opportunity to explore an architectural form with Moorish and Byzantine decorative elements.
